Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LyncDoc, a service operated by SASC Services (OPC) Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website, web apps and WhatsApp service (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What LyncDoc is

LyncDoc is a technology platform that connects patients with independent, verified doctors and nurses who provide home visits. LyncDoc itself does not provide medical care or medical advice. Doctors and nurses on the Platform are independent practitioners responsible for their own clinical decisions and the care they provide. We are not liable for the medical services rendered by them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may book a visit on behalf of a family member or dependent in your care, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

3. Accounts & verification

You register using your mobile number and verify it with a one-time passcode (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your account and device secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate, current and complete information.

4. Bookings

• When you request a visit, your booking is broadcast to eligible nearby verified doctors; the first to accept is assigned to you (“first-accept-wins”).
• If no doctor accepts within the response window, the booking expires and you may try again.
• Acceptance of a booking creates an arrangement for care between you and the assigned independent practitioner.

5. Fees & payments

Visit fees are shown before or upon confirmation of your booking and are inclusive of applicable charges unless stated otherwise. Fees may vary by service type and provider. You agree to pay the fee for the service you book.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel an eligible booking from within the app. Repeated no-shows or abusive cancellations may lead to restrictions on your account.

7. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate personal, location and health information.
• Be present and reachable at the address and number provided for the visit.
• Treat practitioners and our staff with respect.
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and not misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.

8. Communications

By using the Platform you consent to receive service messages (booking updates, confirmations and one-time login codes) via WhatsApp and/or SMS in relation to your account and bookings.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind regarding the Platform and the conduct or clinical decisions of independent practitioners. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SASC Services (OPC) Private Limited and its officers and personnel from claims arising out of your misuse of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms or use the Platform unlawfully. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
