This Privacy Policy explains how LyncDoc (“we”, “us”, “our”), a service operated by SASC Services (OPC) Private Limited, collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our website, web apps, and WhatsApp service (together, the “Platform”). LyncDoc connects patients with independent, verified doctors and nurses for home visits in India.
By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Information we collect
- Account & identity: name, mobile/WhatsApp number, email (if provided), age, gender.
- Location: address, area/locality and pincode you provide for a home visit.
- Health information: symptoms, the reason for your visit, and any medical notes or allergies you choose to share. This is sensitive personal data and we treat it with extra care.
- Booking data: your bookings, status, assigned doctor, fees and history.
- Messages: the messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp.
- Technical data: device/browser information and basic usage logs needed to run and secure the Platform.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your identity (including one-time passcodes / OTP for login).
- To take your booking, match you with eligible nearby verified doctors, and confirm your visit.
- To send you booking updates and confirmations (via WhatsApp and/or SMS) and respond to your requests.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Platform.
- To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. WhatsApp messaging
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta) to let you book a doctor by chat, to notify you when a doctor accepts your booking, and to deliver one-time login codes. By sharing your WhatsApp number with us, you consent to receive these service messages. You can stop messaging us at any time; transactional messages relate only to your own bookings and account.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the service:
- Assigned doctor: the doctor who accepts your booking receives the details necessary to provide care (e.g. name, contact number, location, symptoms).
- Service providers: trusted vendors who help us run the Platform, including our database, authentication and hosting provider (Supabase), our messaging provider (Meta WhatsApp Business Platform), and our website/app hosting. They process data only on our instructions.
- Legal: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users or the public.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may ask us to delete your account and associated data (see “Your rights”).
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including row-level access controls in our database and encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@lyncdoc.in. We will respond within a reasonable time. You can edit much of your profile information directly within the app.
9. Children
The Platform is intended for adults (18+). A parent or guardian may use the Platform to book a visit for a minor in their care and is responsible for the information they provide.

11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
